EMMA DESOUZA

Emma DeSouza works as a freelance journalist, regularly reporting from European Parliament in Brussels and Strasbourg. DeSouza covers current affairs and European legislation including reporting on the EU AI Act, and EU Nature Restoration laws. DeSouza takes part in critical press conferences, interviewing MEPs and civic leaders including the Colombian Truth Commission’s Father Francisco de Roux, wherein her analysis drew comparisons between Colombia’s peace process and Northern Ireland’s peace process.
